Recently, under the auspices of China National Tourism Administration, the local tourism regulators of seven Chinese regions including Shanghai, Anhui, Guangxi, Shaanxi, Ningxia, Qinghai, and Xinjiang, the selected companies in the sector of tourism as well as Air China Jakarta Representative Office jointly held the “Beautiful China” 2013 China National Muslim Tourism Promotion Seminar at Hotel Borobudur Jakarta.
The seminar, which attracted a lot of visitors, was the first of the kind ever organized by China National Tourism Administration in Indonesia (the world’s largest Muslim country) and was well accepted by the industry.
As the airline partner of the event, Air China used the opportunity to publicize its latest routes, services, and products, enhancing its brand awareness in the Muslim tourism sector. In the lucky draw, Air China offered its aircraft models to the winners.
It’s been 23 years since Air China began its operations to Indonesia since 1991. Currently, Air China offers three-times weekly flights (CA977/8) between Beijing and Jakarta via Xiamen, using B737- 800. The outbound flights depart from Beijing at 15:30 and the return flights depart at 00:40 local time.
